RealBud

Evolution is the heartbeat of artistry, and for Phumudzo Mushiane, the journey is just beginning. Originally stepping into the music scene under the moniker Somme Badude, the South African multi-genre artist established a gritty, authentic underground identity before naturally rebranding to RealBud—a name signaling maturity, deep-rooted authenticity, and a laser-focused vision for his craft.

Hailing from the streets and channeling raw life experiences directly into his music, RealBud has carved out a unique sonic lane that effortlessly cross-pollinates cultures and rhythms. His signature sound bridges three distinct worlds: the heavy 808s and raw lyricism of Hoodtrap, the high-energy syncopated riddims of Dancehall, and the infectious, soulful grooves of Afrobeats. Whether delivering hard-hitting street anthems or smooth, danceable tracks, his music projects the undeniable aura of a storyteller capturing life from its roots
