Beaman Kart Racing

This is a channel about a sport I started participating in when I was 54 years old, in 2010. During the 4 years of participation, I have gone from "Horrible", where I would get lapped in lap 8 or 9 in a 12 lap race, to mediocre with a few gusts to pretty good, where I would be in the top 3-5 places for a significant portion of the race. I even won one race, but it does not count, since I was the only participant in that class that weekend.
And, I am steadily improving. I finished 4th out of 11 racers in the final Points Heat of Race 14 in 2014.
The videos show some of the struggles to get better and the funny things that happen on the way there. They are for your enjoyment, as I have enjoyed making them, along with some of the frustrations. I hope you enjoy watching them.
