Serenity for the Soul

Sharing a creative journey to find peace and serenity in the midst of deep grief.  Creativity in the arts including painting, pottery, woodworking, writing, etc.  Creativity thru nature by growing beautiful flowers, herbs and gardens and creativity in the home through decorating projects and cooking and preserving. All this taking place on my beautiful Iowa farm and in my home that my soulmate and now guardian angel husband and I dreamed about and built 27 years ago. My husband died unexpectedly 7 years ago at age 51 and my unwanted new reality began.  The grief experience has been been an overwhelming roller coaster of emotions and with time I have concluded all I can do is take care of myself by finding things that bring some short periods of peace and serenity to my heart and soul. I am hoping sharing with others may help them and I am going to be documenting my newest endeavor in learning pottery while sharing other activities that I have developed over the last few years.
