Who We Are
The Shrine of St. Padre Pio in San Antonio, Texas, is a welcoming and spirit-filled Catholic parish within the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Since celebrating our first Mass in 2001, we have grown into a vibrant community of faith, where families, individuals, and visitors are invited to encounter Christ, deepen their prayer life, and live out their purpose in the world. As a Roman Catholic parish, we embrace the fullness of the Catholic faith, guided by the living Magisterium, Sacred Scripture, and Sacred Tradition. We believe in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, celebrate the sacraments as encounters with God’s grace, and seek to follow Christ in our daily lives. 

Our mission is to welcome all people into an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist, to grow together in prayer, presence, and purpose, and to form disciples who bring Christ’s love into the world.
