Stephanus Skadulig

This is music for the shadows we carry.

Hi, I’m Stephanus Skadulig, a South African independent artist and songwriter creating music from the darker places of life.

I write and record in Afrikaans and English, moving across darkwave, alternative rock and metal, gothic, industrial, electronic, 1980s rock and pop, and rap. Every project has its own identity.

My songs explore pain, identity, faith, love, relationships, family, accountability, survival and hope. I believe music can give a voice to what words cannot.

Every story deserves its own sound and journey — from haunting moments to powerful guitars, drums and cinematic intensity.

Some songs are about loss. Some are about what we hide. Some are about love. And some are simply about still being here.

This is Stephanus Skadulig.
