Stroud's Hardware

Stroud's Hardware was established in the 1950s and 4th generation owner Becky Honeycutt is looking to reinvent the family business in 2026. Unfortunately, in the early 2000s the closure of several mines in the area led to a decline in population and traffic. Thanks to a dedicated local community, Stroud's lasted longer than most but also closed their doors in 2013. Residents have been begging for their return ever since. They know that when Stroud's was thriving, Dunlow was thriving! In 2021, the introduction of the first and only Hatfield McCoy ATV Trailhead in a state forest arrived at Cabwaylingo, just a few miles from Stroud's Hardware. Stroud's will capitalize on the market share that is waiting to be captured. The one business in town today does not provide all the items locals and tourists need and they don't have the capacity or desire to do so. Stroud's will provide all the things you need to keep the adventure going right here in southern Wayne County West Virginia!
