Surdus Metal

Born in the heart of Johannesburg, Surdus first stirred in 2012 and was reborn in 2024. Led by a fierce female voice, the band weaves a rich tapestry of symphonic, groove, and death metal—where melody and brutality entwine. With guttural growls that shake the earth and clean vocals that drift like ghosts through twilight, Surdus conjures a soundscape that pierces the flesh and lingers in the soul.
