Swamp Mercy Revival

Swamp Mercy Revival is the backwoods gospel fever dream of M.E. Doss—a one-man tent revival summoned in verse and vibe. While the band is fictional, the music is conjured through the sonic sorcery of AI, and the lyrics bleed straight from Doss’s own soul, soaked in sweat, memory, and moonshine.

The son of southern revivalists and Louisiana Hayride veterans, Doss was raised in the shadow of gospel tents and honky-tonks. Doss was fortunate enough to sit in on his mama, Kay Arnold, and her writing partner Kendall Hayes (and he may have picked up a thing or 2 about writing lyrics). The music may be AI-driven, but the heart is all his—steeped in storytelling, grit, and grace.

Born in the holler between heaven and a honky tonk, SMR fuses southern rock, gospel soul, bayou funk, and Delta blues into songs that stomp, shout, and testify. This ain’t about pulpits—it’s about chasing your own truth with a Telecaster in one hand and a jar of ‘shine in the other.
