The Ascension Architect | D.R. Hinnant

Welcome! I’m Donald Hinnant III, known as the Ascension Architect and writing fantasy as D. R. Hinnant.

I’m an author, storyteller, and creator with two passions: exploring the mysteries of consciousness and bringing extraordinary fictional worlds to life.

As the Ascension Architect, I share my experiences and perspectives on near-death experiences, out-of-body experiences, meditation, spirituality, and the deeper questions of human existence. My books include The Doorways, THE SHIFT, and more.

As D. R. Hinnant, I’m building Aethra, an original epic fantasy universe filled with living magic, ancient beasts, complex characters, romance, and unforgettable adventures.

My debut fantasy novel, A Breath Before the Storm, begins The Skinbound Saga.

Two genres. One creator. A lifetime of stories to tell.
