The Boston House: Hope And Healing For Children With Cancer

Since 1979, The Boston House: Hope and Healing for Children with Cancer has served as a home away from home for children with cancer who are receiving treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children's Hospital. As an essential part of their overall care, the House provides up to 22 families at a time with no-cost and convenient accommodations in a safe and comfortable home-like setting. Here, children, families, and caregivers find respite from the hospital and medical procedures, a sense of normalcy, and comfort and support among staff, volunteers, and other families facing the life-changing realities of childhood cancer.
