IMAN the ghetto conjuress

Wassup yall! I’m Iman, the Ghetto Conjuress. I embody everything society was taught to look down on: the ghetto, the unconventional, the unapologetic.

I’m here to show that we can be loud, educated, spiritual, cultured, and still be ourselves. No pandering. No code-switching. No polishing myself up for respectability.

Here, I explore Black American history, Hoodoo, and other ancestral practices through an uncensored lens of someone whose lived experiences are intertwined with the very traditions I study.

“Spirituality is not how you appear, but how you exist.”

Through Hoodoo-rooted divination and other spiritual practices, I explore the relationship between the living and ancestral, offering cartomancy readings for insight, clarity, and guidance.
