TheWildKeeper

Welcome to The Wild Keeper. I’m Matt, and I manage 60 acres of Yorkshire wilderness, ancient woodlands, and lakeside ecology with a focus on conservation.

This channel is a window into the life of a land manager and my attempts to balance productivity with preservation. From timber production and sustainable forestry to managing fisheries and a walled garden, I’m documenting how a working estate can thrive in harmony with the wildlife that calls it home. join me as I attempt to document what we have achieved so far and aim to achieve in the future

What to expect:
Estate Management: Practical, low-impact work across 60 acres.
Wildlife Photography: High-detail captures of local species in their natural habitat.
Aquaculture & Forestry: Behind-the-scenes of building a sustainable, land-based business.
