THINK ON THIS

Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

                                               Romans 12:2

Thinking differently alters your perspective, which in turn alters your behavior. The words of Paul aren't new. Matthew 4:17 is Jesus' first sermon, in which he encourages his listeners to "change their minds".

Jesus challenged people to think differently, because it doesn't matter how many times you read through the Bible, if you read with your biases and labels in mind, you will simply make the words you read mean whatever you think they mean.

"Our brain's physical nature changes as we think. As we consciously direct our thinking, we can wire out toxic patterns of thinking and replace them with healthy thoughts.”
