The Ukrainian Art Song Project, founded in 2004, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the classical treasures of Ukrainian art song. This groundbreaking initiative aims to record and publish an anthology of over 1,000 art songs by 26 of Ukraine’s greatest composers for distribution worldwide. Equally important is introducing Ukrainian art songs to students in international conservatories and music faculties.

Operating under the auspices of the Canadian Ukrainian Opera Association, a registered charity, the project promotes Ukrainian classical music through live performances and recordings. Managed by a volunteer Board based in Toronto, it oversees the project’s goals, communications, fundraising, and events.

Supported by an international roster of artists and music lovers, the Ukrainian Art Song Project is creating an extraordinary musical legacy for the world. Imagine being part of it.
