Ummy De Special

Welcome to the world of UMMY DE SPECIAL.

I am a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, and storyteller using music to navigate life’s waves and rise through them. My sound blends African rhythms, soulful melodies, and global influences to tell stories of love, resilience, faith, family, and self-discovery.

WAVARIA — my debut EP — is a musical journey inspired by the tides of life. Each song represents a wave: moments of joy, pain, hope, loss, and triumph. From deeply personal stories in Swahili to universal emotions expressed across cultures, WAVARIA is both intimate and expansive.

This channel is where I share:
Official music & visuals
Live performances & acoustic sessions
Behind-the-scenes creative journeys

Music is not just what I do — it is who I am.
If you believe in art with meaning, voices from Africa, and stories that heal and empower, you are in the right place.
