Jaymz Hoffard (Urban Legend)

KERRANG!: The name "Urban Legend" fits that
eerie, atmospheric vibe perfectly. Where did it
come from?

SONJA: We were rehearsing in an old, abandoned
stone basement beneath the city for six months
straight. One night, we finally emerged into the
foggy streets, all dressed in black leather and
boots. A local street artist saw us and joked, "You
guys play down there so much, the neighborhood
kids think ghosts are playing music. You're
becoming a total urban legend." We stopped,
looked at each other, and knew that was the name.
