Visobel Black

Hello there wonderful creatures!
Welcome to my cauldron of creative concoctions! Words & alliteration, I love 'em.

In essence, I am a professional doer and maker of many things: violinist; singer; composer; visual artist; sewist; storyteller; intuitive tarot reader; thinker, and all round strangeling, with a particular obsession for moths.
I have forged a strong connection over the years to the use of story and metaphor which I believe has the power to affect change in our modern world.
I'm calling this space a cauldron as I guarantee you that while it may seem inconsistent on the surface, there is an unbreakable red thread running through everything I do with themes of folklore, myth, nature, the moon, feminism, grief, trauma, and healing, with a particular emphasis on women, intuition and the importance of having a voice of one’s own that is not only heard but visible.

Whatever hath brought thee here, a thousand welcomes!
