I'm an ex-royal marine sharing my healing journey, from a life fueled by violence to an advocate for peace.
My journey began over a decade ago when I hit rock bottom. I was addicted to drugs, lost access to my daughter and found myself continuously in trouble with the police due to my violent behaviour. I spent ten years on anti- psychotic medication for my PTSD. The anxiety and depression had taken over my life, which in turn led me to two suicide attempts.
In order to turn my life around I've had to dedicate myself to healing my traumas. I've travelled the world delving into various philosophies, studies and practices ranging from yoga to nervous system regulation. I recently completed a shamanic apprenticeship in the jungles of Peru. I've spent 40 days in silent isolation working with Ayahuasca and master plants, completed extensive studies on trauma-informed healing, meditation and breathwork. I hope my healing journey gives people the confidence to reach out and ask for help.
