After more than 50 years in ministry and serving in over 50 countries, I learned something that changed everything. You can serve God faithfully for decades and still misunderstand His heart toward you.

For most of my life, I was driven by pressure to produce. More churches. More numbers. More results. I believed God was pleased with me when I was winning.

It took stage 4 cancer and 21 days on a ventilator to strip away the system I had built. In that weakness, God brought me back to one simple truth: the Father loves us as He loves His Son.
