Xla

Allegresse Mbemba, known as Xla, is a South African Christian artist born on 29 February 2008 in Johannesburg and raised in Cape Town, with Congolese roots. He discovered his talent for music in 2021 and started making music ever since, but everything changed in 2025 when he found Christ. 

After accepting Jesus in his life as his Lord and Saviour, he realised his musical gift was from God. With this talent, he chose to give it all to Christ and use his music to worship and share the Gospel.

Since then, Xla has been growing spiritually and developing a unique sound that honours God, inspires the youth, and reflects his testimony of grace and transformation. His mission is to lead others to Christ, bring hope through music, and show that true purpose is found in Jesus.
