 Vision:
Young Voices United (YVU) is an organization that will be recognized as a provider of venues for the voices of our youth to be heard through the performing arts. YVU will strive to be seen at the fore front of motivating our youth to be positive and successful members of society. Members of Young Voices United today, will become positive leaders and role models in society tomorrow.
Young Voices United was formed in 1991 and originally began as an after school program, under the direction of its visionary, Nic Starr.  Mr. Starr is a former theatre arts public school educator (middle and high schools respectively), who answered the call to provide an environment for young people to explore their gifts and talents without succumbing to the financial challenges of high end priced performing arts programs.
