Gwangju Museum of Art

Gwangju Museum of Art consists of a main gallery, Ha Jung-woong Museum of Art, a gallery of Photography, an annex in downtown of Gwangju, and G&J gallery in Seoul. Our museum provides the opportunity to enjoy art and culture not only to the public. 

Through Bejing Residency in China, International Residency, and Young Artist Support Centre in Gwangju, our museum has been playing a role as a bridgehead for international exchange of art and culture as well as advancing local art by actively supporting Gwangju artists. 

Furthermore, our learning programmes including lectures for cultural and artistic knowledge, art lessons, and hands-on activities are designed to embrace all age groups from toddlers to the elderly and marginalised communities without any boundaries.
