Hwangmaesan County Park

Hello, and welcome to Hwangmaesan County Park.

Hwangmaesan is a stunning mountain rising 1,113 meters above sea level, located on the border of Hapcheon and Sancheong in Gyeongnam. Known as the “Geumgangsan of Yeongnam,” it boasts breathtaking scenery with unique rock formations, lush pine forests, and vibrant azaleas.

It is home to the largest azalea colony in Korea, creating a spectacular sea of pink every May. Visitors can also enjoy the beautiful silver grass fields in autumn and snowy landscapes in winter.

With its barrier-free trails, wooden decks, and parking near the summit, the park offers easy access for families, couples, and group visitors alike.

Selected twice as one of Korea’s “Top 100 Tourist Attractions” and featured in numerous films, dramas, and music videos, Hwangmaesan is a must-visit destination.

We warmly invite you to visit and experience its beauty!
