Critical Zone Collaborative Network

The Critical Zone is Earth's outer skin, extending from the tops of the trees downward into the groundwater. It supports all terrestrial life. And it's where complex interactions occur between water, atmosphere, ecosystems, soil, and rock.

In 2020, the Critical Zone Hub project ended, and we are now known as the Critical Zone Collaborative Network, working closely with earth science clusters. Our host organization is CUAHSI.
