Khalifa International Award for Date Palm

صُمِمَتْ جائزة خليفة الدولية لنخيل التمر والابتكار الزراعي، تقديراً من صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة "حفظه الله" للشجرة المباركة والعاملين في قطاع زراعة النخيل وإنتاج التمور بالعالم، لتعزيز الدور الريادي لدولة الإمارات عالمياً في تنمية وتطوير البنية التحتية لهذا القطاع، ودعم البحث العلمي وتشجيع الابتكار الزراعي، وتكريم الشخصيات، وتنمية التعاون الدولي من أجل تعزيز الأمن الغذائي وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة لنا وللأجيال القادمة.
The Khalifa Int'l Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, was established by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, May God protect him, in appreciation of the blessed tree & scientists in the date palm cultivation & agricultural innovation sectors worldwide, to enhance the UAE’s pioneering role in developing this sector’s infrastructure, supporting research, & developing int'l cooperation to enhance food security & achieve sustainable development globally for us and for future generations
