URGE

What does URGE sounds like, ... Hardcore, Indie, Alternative or Crossover?
They have played with bands like Fugazi, Melvins, Alice Donut, MDC, etc. and grew up alongside bands like Bad Brains, Black Flag, NoMeansNo, Victims Family, the Rollins Band and many others.
That doesn't describe their music style, but their influences!

Already in 1990 URGE recorded their first long player "Listen Carefully To The Powerful Urge Outburst". Shortly thereafter, the first studio album "Why Hide The Lie" was released.
"... strong instrumentation, energetic, rough vocals ... which pleasantly stands out from the usual hardcore rattle. Recommended!". Wrote the “Rock Hard” back then.
In the same year, URGE were invited by FUGAZI to support their three-week European tour.

URGE traveled all over Europe and played in cities like Barcelona, ​​Paris, Prague, Warsaw, Rome, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and London. In Germany they played in almost every youth center.
