Guide Outfitters Association of BC

The Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia (GOABC) was established in 1966 to represent the guide outfitting community.  Guide outfitters are the founders of British Columbia’s tourism industry and are an important part of the outdoor heritage of our province.  The association is a non-profit society which represents approximately 65% of the guide outfitting businesses in British Columbia.  

The vision of the GOABC is a province with a strong and stable outfitting industry and abundant wildlife populations for all to enjoy, both today and in the future.  As passionate advocates for wildlife, GOABC is the recognized voice of the outfitting family in British Columbia.  

British Columbia (BC) is unique because it is home to healthy wildlife populations, including 18 of the 29 North American big-game species. This, combined with beautiful landscapes of healthy forests, rugged mountains, pristine lakes and rivers, makes BC a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
