New York Is My Happy Place

A local’s guide to New York City’s hidden magic ✨

Discover NYC neighborhoods, hidden gems, unique things to do in New York City & the stories behind the places most visitors miss.

I’m a Brooklyn artist and longtime NYC small business owner. For 21 years, I ran a shop on the Coney Island boardwalk, creating community, celebrating local culture, and experiencing the real characters and stories that make this city unforgettable.

Now I share the NYC I know best — from Brooklyn streets and Coney Island to Rockaway Beach and the overlooked corners where creativity, history, and community come alive.

On this channel you’ll discover:
• The best NYC neighborhoods for your vibe
• Hidden gems and non-touristy things to do in NYC
• Brooklyn, Coney Island, and Rockaway Beach like a local
• The dreamers, artists, and small businesses that shape the city
