Niles is the CEO/Founder of The Avant Garde, LLC. He is also a Hip-Hop artist and the founder of the youth artist development curriculum entitled "Hip-Hop, History and The Arts". He graduated from Michigan State University in 2006 with a Bachelors in Communications. After graduation he moved to New York City to pursue a career in music, film and education. In New York he worked in film for BET News, CBS, MTV, NY Fashion Week along with releasing a single on major label E1 (Koch) Records. He is the son of the legendary jazz/symphony orchestra bassist Sam Gill. Recently, he opened up for Hip-Hop legends: Jay Electronica, Rakim, Slick Rick, Yasiin Bey, Pete Rock, Raekwon, Camp-Lo, Slum Village and Jericho Jackson (Elzhi & Khrysis). Niles will be releasing his debut album entitled "To Remain" this year.
