Running Mechanics Professional Certification

The Running Mechanics Professional (RMP) certification program was created to provide professionals in the areas of sport, fitness and rehabilitation with effective strategies for improving performance and resiliency wherever running is concerned. While running is often considered one of the simplest means of carrying out exercise, there are complexities and nuances involved in the planning and implementation of an effective running-based program. The intent of the RMP Certification program is to build on the simplicity inherent in efficient, high-quality running. There is a need to provide practitioners with logical process for assessing, coaching, teaching and programming for all levels of athletes and general population clientele. Ultimately, these certifications should be viewed as a ‘way of thinking’ around human locomotion and performance.
