Heru Inc

Heru Inc. (www.SeeHeru.com) is a spinoff company from the University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Bascom Palmer is ranked the number one eye hospital in the U.S., and where our AI diagnostics and vision augmentation platform is continuously developed.

Our technology is the culmination of over 10 years of clinical and scientific research and development. This effort is led by Heru’s Founder and CEO Mohamed Abou Shousha, MD, PhD, associate professor of clinical ophthalmology, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

We are driven by innovation and our goal to provide physicians and patients with cutting-edge technology to help improve access to eye care. The rapid introduction of telemedicine, and the rising prevalence of glaucoma worldwide, illustrates the need for a portable and user-friendly platform that offers a novel and more cost-effective means of testing.
