Community Foundation of the New River Valley

At the Community Foundation of the New River Valley (CFNRV), we help individuals, families, and businesses create and sustain a vibrant, supportive community, now and for generations to come. We match our donors’ unique interests, ideas, and passions with the charitable organizations making a positive impact in our region of southwest Virginia every day.

Since beginning our work in 1994, the CFNRV has worked with donors to create more than 200 endowed funds that support nonprofit organizations and students in our community each year through grants and scholarships. We are a publicly supported, nonprofit organization classified as a 501c3 by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Learn more about our work at cfnrv.org.
