Unpacking a guitar and a fiddle on the bustling streets of the Big Apple for a shot at performing at the legendary Ed Sullivan Theatre during the “Late Show with David Letterman” days is far from what some might expect from a pair of sisters, from a small village in the Midwest. But, it’s the sheer determination, hard work and evidence of their talent - bred by the tough hands of a migrant family who harvested cabbage for a living and an all-American blue-collar family of wreath-makers - both with a strong love for music, that propelled Michelle and Melinda to develop their innate songwriting abilities, unmatched harmonies, and gift for writing masterful melodies.

“We’ve continued to write and perform for the past 19 years. We have so many songs that we want to continue to share, and it’s been a long process to try and record them and get them all out there,” said Melinda. “We are excited to start doing that especially with our latest, The One I Loved Before."
