Makula Jowannah

Welcome to the official YouTube channel of Makula Jowannah!
Born in the vibrant landscapes of Eastern Uganda and forged in the trenches of the Nateete ghettos, Makula Jowannah is a rising powerhouse redefining East African urban music. As a dual-threat artist, she seamlessly commands high-octane dancehall rhythms and hard-hitting rap flows, creating a signature sound that is rhythmically infectious and lyrically sharp.

Her music is a raw, authentic reflection of resilience, street-smart storytelling, and unapologetic female energy. Blending the pulsing energy of the ghetto with clever wordplay, Jowannah crafts anthems that speak directly to the hustle, struggles, and triumphs of the youth.
