Khaki Scouts

“Pure guitar pop” - Melita Dennett, BBC Introducing

Eclectic and eccentric, but damn they write a good song. Khaki Scouts are an indie punk band made up of four principled individuals, including a drummer who is far too softly spoken for the volume he plays drums, and a frontman who puts on an amazing live show but struggles with shoelaces.

Their first 3 singles were released in 2019, earning Khaki Scouts a spot as Featured Artist on BBC Introducing the South, with all 3 singles getting a spin. Their third single, Lead Me On also featured on the Tom Robinson show. Since then, these lovely young chaps have recorded their debut album “Send Help” in a couldn’t-be-more-on-brand garage studio, which they built with their own sweet hands.

Send Help is due to be released in 2020 - hold on to your hats, as we’re told there’ll be raucous lo-fi guitars, loud, catchy choruses and songs that could only be described as punk-influenced. Non-offensive easy listening, this certainly is not.
