The Retrofit Academy

Cutting carbon and tackling fuel poverty are two of the biggest challenges over the coming decades.

We need to make our homes fit for the future and deliver on the UK Government's 2050 net zero targets - most importantly, to end the choice many households are facing between heating and eating.

The only way this can be achieved is by upgrading millions of homes, making them more energy-efficient through a process known as retrofitting.

Over 28 million UK homes need energy-efficiency improvements and to do this we need an army of retrofit professionals over 400,000 strong.

The Retrofit Academy develops and delivers the training and support required for this growing sector in partnership with government, industry and education providers.
