Chesapeake & Potomac Softball (CAPS)

The Chesapeake & Potomac Softball League (CAPS) is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization founded in 1983 and is DC, Maryland, and Virginia's only softball league dedicated to the LGTBQ+ community and its allies. We welcome all skill levels to our recreation and competitive teams.

CAPS is dedicated to the promotion of amateur softball for all persons (regardless of sexual orientation, gender identification or expression, race, sex, age, national origin, religion, marital status, immigration status, economical background, personal appearance, family responsibility, material possessions, physical handicap, political affiliation, or skill level) for the purposes of pleasure, recreation, and competition.

CAPS is a member of the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance (NAGAAA) and the Amateur Sports Alliance of North America (ASANA).
