Project INDIGO

graffiti is a unique | complex | short-lived | socially relevant form of cultural heritage

With funding obtained through the Heritage Science Austria programme (of the Austrian Academy of Sciences), the two-year INDIGO research project aims to build the basis to systematically document | disseminate | analyse almost 13 km of uninterrupted graffiti along Vienna’s Donaukanal (Eng. Danube Canal) in the next decade. This YouTube channel presents some of the video footage generated in the course of INDIGO.
