Silas Boone

Welcome to Silas Boone—where the forgotten wisdom of Appalachia lives on.

Here, we preserve the old-fashioned cooking tricks, mountain survival skills, Depression-era meals, hard-to-find supplies, and practical secrets our grandparents relied on every day. These lessons were rarely written down, but they’re too valuable to disappear.

Subscribe and rediscover the skills, recipes, and traditions that helped generations survive with less, waste nothing, and live well.
