Aquafragma

Aquafragma is a Self-Operating Flood Barrier (patent applied for GB 1403974.7) which normally rests flat with pavement and rotates automatically, by buoyancy action only, to upright position before flood level reaches pavement level.

Aquafragma is a spin-off enterprise of Dion. Toumazis & Associates inspired from the results of the EU FP7 program SMARTeST, Smart Resilience Technology Systems and Tools for Flood Protection.

Aquafragma is a project co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of Innovative Enterprises of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism of the Republic of Cyprus.
