EU Funded UN Joint STREIT PNG Programme

The Support to Rural Entrepreneurship, Investment and Trade in Papua New Guinea (STREIT) programme, co-funded by the European Union, assists agripreneurs to develop, rehabilitate and expand production and trade of Cacao, Vanilla and Fisheries in PNG provinces of East Sepik and Sandaun. STREIT is the largest grant-funded programme of the European Union in the country and in the Pacific sub-region. It supports not only entrepreneurs and farmers directly, but it also helps to improve the enabling environment - their access to markets, finance, telecommunications and renewable energy.
