St. Mark the Evangelist Anglican Church

St. Mark the Evangelist Anglican Church is a traditional 1928 Prayer Book parish called to love and serve the people of Waxahachie, Texas and greater Ellis County, Texas and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. St. Mark’s affirms the teachings of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church and to sharing those teachings. We serve the Triune God: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – our salvation is found in Him alone. We accept fully the Apostolic Faith (the “Faith once delivered”) in the Sacred Scriptures as containing all things necessary for salvation, and profess the three ancient Creeds of the Church (Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian) as the right interpretation of Scripture, the Seven Ecumenical Councils, the teachings of the Ancient Fathers, and the tenets of Christian orthodoxy. St. Mark the Evangelist is a mission church of the The Reformed Episcopal Church (REC), a sub-jurisdiction of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).
