Brotherhood of the Mudkat

Brotherhood of the Mudkat was formed in the aftermath of the great Iowa flood of 2008. These three degenerates (Bill Hall – Bass/Lead Vocals, Zane Moenck – Guitars/Vocals, Robb Sanders – Drums/Vocals) found themselves washed into the same waters in February of 2009. Sensing the chemistry at their first meeting, they played their first show after just two practices. Since then, the band has played countless shows across eastern Iowa, released a ten song EP, a full length CD, and recorded a third album that was never released. 
 
In 2014 they decided to take a break from the band to focus on other projects.

In June of 2016 a tug on the old line happened again.  After a 2 year hiatus they reformed and opened for Otep in Iowa city at Gabe’s.  They spent the rest of the summer opening for the likes of Metal Church, Wednesday 13, One Eyed Doll, Flotsam & Jetsam, Helstar, Hatchet just to name a few.  They also expanded and became a four piece with the addition of Stu “the dew” Frondle.
