Alouette Batteau

Alouette Batteau is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music reflects influences ranging from folk rock to new wave, surfing the spectrum from r&b and soul to pure ecstatic pop. Magnetic grooves and cathartic harmonies add to the allure of her intelligent and insightful lyrics, creating a full moon force that’s impossible to resist.

Born in a tidal wave of thunder beats and red violins, Batteau quickly progressed to piano, guitar, bass, and drums. By the time she was ten, she was playing in a band called Belle Amie, holding her own on the drums and singing sweet harmonies with her 10 and 12 year old bandmates. Now 19, she’s a seasoned veteran, having performed countless shows as the drummer for indie folk rock trio Kalliope Jones and the lead singer for groovy, guitar driven Raspberry Jam.
