Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center

Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center provides a wide variety of nature education programs for school children and families at three campuses in Southern Colorado: The Mountain Park Campus, a beautiful and wild 611-acre park located in Beulah, 25 miles west of Pueblo; the River Campus, located in the scenic Rock Canyon on the banks of the Arkansas River in Pueblo; and the Raptor Center, just up the hill from the River Campus, a rehabilitation facility for injured and orphaned birds of prey, where visitors can see live raptors. In addition to our in-person programs and guided hikes, we are now expanding our services to provide online content that encourages kids and families to spend quality time outside!

We are a donation- and membership-based nonprofit that relies on grants and community support to fulfill our mission, to promote environmental stewardship and community health through nature education, wildlife rehabilitation, and outdoor recreation. Support us here: bit.ly/nwdcdonate
