Randy Helm, CPA

I am a sitting CFO in commercial construction and I make videos about the money side of running a construction business.

This channel is for owners of specialty and general contractors doing $5 million to $30 million a year. The topics are the ones that decide whether you keep what you earn: job costing, work in progress schedules, costs to complete, cash flow, bid margins, overhead recovery, and what your banker and your surety are actually looking at when they review your statements.

I am a CPA with an MBA and more than twenty years in construction finance. Most financial advice for contractors comes from people selling software or filing your taxes. I work these numbers every month, in the seat, with real jobs and real crews.

I also provide fractional CFO services to construction companies through Your CFO Service. If you want to talk about your situation, start at your-cfo-service.com.
