The Beery Boater + The BB Off Piste

The Beery Boater is a citizen journalist, content creator, investigative reporter, auditor, drone pilot, and vlogger.

The Beery Boater channel was initially set up to follow the progress of a 57-foot narrowboat DIY fit out – still work in progress. 

Today the channel has somewhat diversified and includes: rambling; green issues; fairgrounds; canal walks; allotment visits; town tours; festival drop-ins; droning, meeting interesting people; chatting to fascinating folk; exploring quirky, off-the-cuff human-interest type topics; and producing mini documentaries, along with the occasional stop-off at a café or pub.

I've been a qualified drone pilot registered with the CAA since 2019 and hold a current operator’s licence, valid until 2027. I have drone insurances, including public indemnity insurance for £2,000,000 cover.
