Lutheran Church of the Cross - Sacramento, CA

Church of the Cross is an all inclusive congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America located in East Sacramento, California. Worship is at 11 am every Sunday with Pr. Dianne Wendt. We are pet friendly, so bring your best friend human or otherwise to church with you! We are a church with a mission, every Sunday we leave to be the church in the world. Beyond our neighborhood here in East Sacramento we serve meals once a month at St. John's Program for Real Change. In partnership with the Episcopal Church, we support  Campus Ministry at City College and Sacramento State. We provide a Christmas dinner and gifts for the clients of Wind Youth Services which offers services to homeless youth on the streets of Sacramento.   Our annual trip to Navajoland  to the Rock Point Lutheran Mission provides an opportunity to reach out to the Navajo in that community by offering a free vaccination program for their livestock.
