SV The Crooked Anchor

SV The Crooked Anchor | Real Boat Life, Real Adventures

In 2019, we traded our 9-to-5 lives for boat keys & set out to see where the water would take us.

We’re Captain Ken & First Mate Kelly, living aboard our 1990 Gemini 3200 catamaran, The Crooked Anchor. We’re not luxury yacht owners or professional sailors—we’re just two people who decided life was too short to keep waiting for “someday.”

From offshore passages, beautiful anchorages to storms, boat repairs, cooking in a tiny galley, unexpected adventures & plenty of salty humor, we share the real side of cruising full-time.

Along the way, we’ve found something we never expected: an incredible community of fellow cruisers who have become friends and family.

You don’t need a million-dollar boat to live a life you’ve dreamed about.

Come aboard & follow as we keep chasing the next horizon—one adventure at a time!!
