Monique Meets World

I don't chase tourist traps. I live there.
I'm Monique, based in Kuala Lumpur with a full-time job and I pet sit my way around the world. I don't stay in the postcard city centers. I land in the neighborhoods locals actually call home: the suburban streets of KL, the picturesque streets in Italy, the small towns in Australia, the local beaches in New Zealand, the areas the guidebooks skip.
Real life abroad isn't a resort. It's the daily commute, the supermarket aisles, the local cafes, and the weird reality of clocking into a 9-to-5 while pet-sitting my way around the world. I share it all.
From the pets and people I meet along the way to the honest truth about living abroad.
